I love the scent as well and will never go back to using an apricot scrub or other microderm abrasion-type products. I have the Ethique bar holders and this along with the cleanser fit perfectly inside. I hold this little bar under the tap for a few seconds to soften and then basically rub the entire softened outer layer onto my face and then with wet hands I scrub it into my skin in small circles. I love that the little scrubby bits are not rough like some apricot scrubs I've used in the past because I can really scrub under my eyes were makeup can tend to settle after you've washed. I used it every single day and one bar lasted me at least a month. Really, all of Ethiques bars last a very long time if you use them properly. The scent is very subtle. I didn't really smell much until I rubbed the wet bar on my face. Would I like it to smell stronger- yes. SHOULD it smell stronger- probably not. Things that are naturally fragranced are not going to have the same scent potency as something that uses artificial fragrance. If I wanted something that smells super strong, I would have to buy something more artificial, which is not what I want.The shape is perfect to hold and manipulate around my nose. I love the scrubbiness of this bar so much, I use it on my body, too. My face feels soft, smooth, and gently moisturized when I'm done. I still use a face oil when I get out of the bath, but my skin doesn't have a tight, stripped feeling from using the bar.The exfoliation is not to harsh or too light. You want something gentle for the face, but I definitely feel the sugar. I like this bar so much, I hope they turn it into a full size bar for the body someday. I feel really pampered when I'm rubbing this into my face. I love the subtle fragrance when I'm using it.
