This makes getting to the lever to release the belt a little awkward.So, ok, no problem, I'll just wear the belt the way that puts the lever at the top of the buckle and cope with the fact everything is backwards to what I'm used to. Which was fine until I wanted to clip my keys on to my usual trouser belt hoop, which is now occupied with excess belt. So, I turned the belt around again so that it operates in the directions I'm used to, putting the lever in a slightly awkward position.If I didn't clip my keys to a belt hoop, I'd just get used to wearing it the way the puts the lever on top.I'm delighted with the belt otherwise. The micro-adjustment is bliss. Thinking about getting a different colour as well, obviously the buckles would be interchangeable.I've not needed to cut the length down yet, but if I did need to, the leather is a bit too thick for me to want to have a go at, without a specialist leather cutter. There's a place that does free belt hole punching, so I'm sure they would either cut the belt down free of charge, or it would be a very small charge. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Supposed to be no beep buckel *by A***T on 21 February 2025* This is a very nice belt , but I am not sure sure it would pass the metal detectors ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ How have I not come across this sooner? *by M***E on 25 April 2025* What a brilliant idea! A ratcheting belt gives so much more variation in fit than the usual buckle kind that leaves you wanting to cut your own holes.I love that the front plate completely hides the mechanism so you get a nice seamless finish on the front.
