I already have an old pair of the black, mesh-style Go Walk 2s, which are the lightest, most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. My goal was to buy a new pair of the Go Walk 2s to be used indoors only, as a house slipper, because that's how light and comfortable they are.Alas, Skechers had "upgraded" to the Go Walk 3, and some reviewers wrote that Skechers had just ruined its line of the best shoes ever. The old Go Walk 2s are still available in limited supply from third-party sellers at super-high prices. I didn't want to take a chance on the Go Walk 3, so I was happy to find this Go Walk 2 Super Sock version at the same price as the old Go Walk 2.It's perfect. The "super sock" upper is just as light as the mesh on my old shoes, they look nice, and most importantly, they have the same sole and feel as the original Go Walk 2.I live in the Pacific Northwest in a home with mostly tile floors, so I keep my feet warm and comfortable with slippers year-round, but I don't like the sloppy feel or look of most slippers. When I realized I was often wearing my old Go Walk 2s in the house as slipper because the lightness and fit were perfect, I began my search that ended with these Super Socks. They will be indoor shoes only (surrogate slippers) because I don't want to worry about tracking mud, pine needles or water into the house.I normally wear Size 10 shoes (and my old pair of Go Walk 2's are that size), but because I tend to put on and take off slippers a lot, I opted for size 10.5, thinking they would be easier to slip on and off. They are, but these stretched out just a bit after several days, so I would have been perfectly fine with my usual size 10.
