I've been for long walks in them with no problems and no need to break in. You can feel the odd stone under them but nothing bad.They look good and give plenty of support also keeping my feet cool in this very hot weather. Although I wear trainer liners to preserve the inside, they are perfectly ok without.I ended up buying another pair in a different colour.The fit is good. I normally take a size 6 and these it fit well.You also get two lots of shoe laces to change them up a bit - a white pair and a tan pair.
