When moved to another country I had to leave it. Now I bought a new one. There is no spring therefore both hands or wind help will be required to open it. Der Holzgriff hat natürlich entsprechende Nutzspuren entwickelt, aber das ist halt wie bei einer Aktentasche aus Leder, erst durch intensive Nutzung und entsprechende Gebrauchsspuren sieht's irgendwann auch edel aus ;-) Lediglich die kleine schwarze Plastikkappe an der Spitze war nach ein paar Monaten verschwunden, das war ein bisschen ärgerlich weil das Holz darunter hell ist und dadurch wirkte der Schirm optisch nicht mehr sonderlich hochwertig. Aber zu dem Zeitpunkt hatte mich der Nutzwert schon absolut überzeugt. Insbesondere bei starkem Wind habe ich mich über den Schirm gefreut, wenn andere Leute morgens auf dem Weg ins Büro mit ihrem Schirm gekämpft haben, bin ich entspannt weiter gegangen. Habe in 2 Jahren keinen Regensturm erlebt der mal Probleme verursacht hätte.
