I’ve plugged instruments straight into it, and I’ve used a sound board. It works great with everything, and the Bluetooth feature is super useful and simple to use. Plugging a mic straight in tends to be a little quiet, but works fine if you run it through an audio interface. Makes for a great monitor, but can also be used as a loudspeaker when necessary.
