It took some time to charge up to 100% (over an hour at least), but when our power went out for about a week, we really got to test it out.It is slightly heavy and appears to be well made; no wobbly or unstable parts. The light output is excellent - lights up our entire living room and part of our kitchen. When I pulled it out of our storage box, the battery was still at 100% after a month. It was easy to transport from room to room, and even on the brightest setting with both lighting panels switched on (sides and bottom), the battery drained very slowly. Used it nightly to light up common areas; charged my phone 4 times (a lot faster than in-car charging) as well as my portable rechargeable fan - it was at 30% by day 5.Overall, I'd say it's a solid choice for power outages or camping, particularly if the price remains reasonable (under $40).
