My tires are factory recommended to be at 80psi for normal use. When driving on the beach airing down tires is a must and using a key was taking a few minutes per tire. I bought this and had it sent to the beach house. I can now air down in about 4 minutes.It seems to be made of solid construction. Using it multiple times a day for 2 weeks I feel it would have broken if it was going to. The only thing I noted that was a slight concern for me was that the gauge only goes to 70psi. I was concerned that since my tires were already over that, that it may be a problem but it didn't seem to phase it. I hooked it up removed the valve stem with a few twists of the handle and I was in business. Another problem this solves besides the amount of time it takes to air down is that it doesn't damage the valve stem. I had to replace 2 in the first few days of the season this year. Thankfully they weren't damaged enough to leave me stranded on the sand. That's a costly tow out. Since I bought this I have not had to replace one stem. I cant imagine going back to the key method. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars It is a toss up between which I like more but on it's own this is a perfect ... *by A***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2016* This was a Christmas gift from my wife to replace a set of Staun deflatorsΒ  Staun Tire Deflators Β that I lost in the Mountains.It is a toss up between which I like more but on it's own this is a perfect tool for the Off-road enthusiast. Pros include, deflate times that are very quick with the removal of the valve core ( I run 33x12.5x15 BFG's ) and the ease of checking pressure as you go makes it simple to get down to proper psi. With this design there is no worry of loosing the valve core as it is retained in the tool the entire time. Material and build quality is on par with the other brands that sell this style of deflator, ARB, Currie, (which also cost more) I'm pretty sure they are all the same unit with just a different faceplate in the gauge. The con of this style is you have to sit, bend, kneel, crouch at each tire and monitor the psi until it is where you want it and that really is about it.Pro- Fast deflate time- No small parts to loose- Build quality- PriceCon- Kneeling at each tire to monitor psi ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Deflates Tires not Budget.. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 12, 2016* Works just fine and is cheaper than similar more-expensive versions from manufacturers. Seems rugged as the gauge is encased in plastic to absorb blows, but I didn't drop it to test it either, nor am I going to do that just to see. There were no instructions included with the tool, but it took only took a minute to figure it out. After doing one, the other three tires went fast. I have a set of Stauns and I think this tool might be faster than those even doing one at a time. Cheaper than genuine Stauns as well by about 50 bux. The target for each tire was 20 PSI and I stopped at 20 on the gauge. Compared to the dash readout of the TPMS and was at 19 PSI for the monitoring system vs 20 on the gauge. Close enough for me. Was going to do 15 PSI, but wanted to try 20 first and had no issues off-road at that pressure, so did not go lower. The stowage case is kind of a joke, but it will work until it breaks or I find a spot in one of my gear bags to stuff it.To deflate, screw the brass end onto your valve stem, slide the portion of the deflator with hose towards the stem. Use the small knurled handle to grab the valve core (spin it while gently pushing toward the stem and you'll know when you engage the valve core), then rotate counterclockwise to unscrew stem. You'll get an air pressure reading on the gauge, then you can slide the hose part of the deflator away from the stem to vent air. Note that the pressure is not checked while you're deflating, so you have to release the pressure reading with the button on the deflator and then slide the hose portion back towards the valve stem. Do this frequently until you get an idea of how long it takes to get to the pressure you're looking for in the tire. Once you're there, slide the hose towards the valve stem and then push the valve core holder in towards the stem and rotate clockwise (righty-tighty). Don't over-tighten or you'll wear out the seals on your valve core faster.
