It's great for the places that it covers, and useful to get ideas of where you might want to go. It doesn't cover every location, which for a book this size you'd think it would. Our family like to travel to weird and off the beaten path locations and there are a few countries or territories in that category not included. But for the vast majority of people this book is great. Just take care of it because, being a big book, the spine could get damaged easily if you don't take care with it.
