Are they been irradiated?** A: Hi there, I'm sorry to hear sprouting isn't going well. Our Black Beans are USDA certified organic and raw therefore they should sprout. The process can be very tricky. Soybeans, for example, require 2-12 hours of soaking and then the water must be changed 2-3 times a day (the beans rinsed and drained) to avoid any decay. Having the right temperature and light conditions can make all the difference. We published a blog article with sprouting instructions. There are some helpful tips you may want to check out.
