They grip .5 inchinch inner dismater rubber hose so well that once it is on you have to cut them off. Problems I want to have. However, first time buying, I thought I was buying "Two" for the price of one because of the company name. Laugh. Its sad to be me every day. :). But to be clear you are getting "one" valve from a company called "Two little fishes" not "two" from a comapny called "little fishes". I am wrighting this because as dumb as I am, I hope and pray there is at least one person who is dumber.

I bought this ball valve to use inline in some tubing going from my canister filter to a chiller on my 20 long axolotl tank. It works great. It allows me to cut off the chiller when I want to...for whatever reasons I may want to...and it doesn't leak or let any water through. It fits the tubing perfectly and seems well made. If you need a cutoff valve for your line, this is a great choice.
