**Q: So this will most definitely fit the Optiplex 3020?**
A: Not sure about a 3020 but it definitely fits a 7010

**Q: Would this work in a dell precision tower 3420**
A: I don't believe that this power supply will fit the case. If you look at the picture of the 3429 supply on Amazon you will notice that at the end where the AC power connector is that there is a square recess on the one side - this supply is rectangular with no recess. Electrically it would probably work but you would have to see if it would fit inside the case.

**Q: Will this work in a dell t1600 with info cn-09d9t1-71300-126-01i1-a00 ac265am-00?**
A: Yes it will work

**Q: Will this work with Optiplex XE2?**
A: If suggest to carefully look at the specs from the manufacturer, I got it for a different model.

My old (7+ years) but reliable optiplex suddenly wouldn't start. After some research and diagnostics, it seemed that PSU was responsible. Dell was selling a refurbished PSU but the shipping time was 2-3 weeks. Instead, I ordered and received this unit much more quickly (and a tad more cheaply) through Prime. It doesn't seem to be OEM, but it was easy to install and works as advertised (for over a month so far). I subtracted a star because the PSU fan seems noticeably louder than my old one. It's not horrible but noticeable. Overall, I'm satisfied.
