Can someone help?** A: I had the same problem. There is a bead that is bigger than all the rest on the bit you use to pull the roller blind down. When you mount the blinds it has to be on the outside and at the top, otherwise it stops the blind from unrolling to it's full length. Hope this helps. **Q: Does the width come first on these measurements of the blinds?** A: Yes all sizes are width x drop size. **Q: The measurement of my window inside recess is 215cmx95cm. What size woukd i need?** A: As these blinds can be trimmed it's probably best to go for one that's slightly wider than your window (not sure if your recess width is 215 or 95). The length of the blind will be included in the description (along with width), so you'll know if that will be okay for you. Hope this helps. **Q: Can the 60cm width be trimmed down to 40cm? Is there a maximum amount you can trim off the blind?** A: Yes. The blind can be trimmed to all sizes. I opted for a mix of aubergine and black to go with the turquoise painted wall in one room.I suffer with the summer heat, especially when the sunlight is hitting directly into my home. The thermal layer woven into these blinds helps to significantly reduce the temperature of the room. Please don’t expect air conditioner miracles, but you will definitely find more comfort from the heat with these blinds fully covering your (e.g lounge, dining room, bedroom, kitchen) windows.The blackout layer provides excellent shading and is particularly useful during the sunny, summer months when you’re enjoying a Sunday morning lie in. I’ve taken a blinds up and blinds down picture around midday (I’m June) to show the difference.The installation requires some patience but is easy enough if you’re familiar with lining up brackets and drilling holes etc. The brackets can be side or top mounted into the wall with the raw plugs and screws provided.The pulley mechanism is smooth and uses white coloured plastic beads - I have opted for and ordered some gun metal beads to replace these (simply un-clip and snap in the new set) as they provide a heavier, sturdier feel and also look much better in my opinion.The supplier offers a range of sizes to suite your requirements. Just be sure to allow additional space for mounting the two brackets which clip into each side of the roller blind - so if your actual, blind coverage area is 80cm, you will need a few extra cm’s of wall space on each side of that to be able to mount the brackets.
