It said to cover the patch and iron over a towel but the patch would not adhere to the garment until I removed the towel. That caused a red stain on the iron. The patch has stayed on through 1 wash and had no color bleed on the white cotton top I used. The directions mention that you should sew on the patch if you’ll be washing the garment you’re attaching it to. To me, that defeats the purpose of ironing it on. I wouldn’t purchase again.
