There are still typos, formatting errors and issues that should have been caught in editing. Some things are referenced with no explanation or image. If you have to use Google Search and YouTube to figure out what they are trying to convey then it just isn't a very good manual. The most annoying part has to be the inclusion of standard and metric information combined in the same text. It renders some of the text nearly unreadable (the worst example is page 178 last paragraph). Please create a separate textbook for the Canadians. It would be better for everyone.If you have to buy it because it is required then it will do the job for you. Just keep a good search engine and You Tube handy.By the way...They mention a pump part called a "slinger ring" with no image provided. Do not do an internet search for it. You will regret it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Missing Key Info. *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on October 1, 2015* I bought this thinking two things, first one book is better than two to carry around, second it is third edition it will have the latest and more information than the second. I was right on one account but aftter having used and studied the second edition Pumper book for years I can tell you there is some valuable knowledge missing. For exmple the 2nd Edition Pumper gives a full description of the different methods of relay pumping, this book does not. I believe the 2nd edition gives a better schematic of front, mid and rear mount pumps as well. I am unsure of this is included in the 3rd Edtion Pumper stand alone or not or if IFSTA purposely left that info out. There are very few errors and most of the questions are very helpful. The answers to all of the questions are in the back so you can check your work and each question has a page reference.
