There are 7 main buttons plus a few extra, but from these, all the normal digital camera functions and settings can be accessed. It comes with a soft carrying pouch, wrist strap, 32GB microSD card, battery, USB-C cable, and I think an HDMI cable. It's rated to 3M/10ft of water, which I haven't fully tested. Probably fine for normal kid activities, rain, sprinklers, pool time, etc. I didn't find the image quality to be all that great even on the best settings, but note I was testing in low to moderate indoor lighting at night.
