Then went to all the trouble fitting at ceiling height close to a window. I was shocked the signal dropped to 4/5mbs far less that without. So I moved it back to original low level position just a metre from router on a coffee table, now I am getting 40 to 50 mbps. No idea why this happened but I am very pleased with the end result. So if your router has just one external antenna this piece of kit is for you. My Model broadband signal was good, now it's great. Cancelled landline package and use router as phone with Three unlimited data, minutes, text, £11 for first 6 months then £22. Edit: Did speed test this morning (13/10) It was 59mbps. Contrary to other reviews I get better speeds when antenna setting Router is set to auto, not external or internal. Review: Doesn't seem to make much difference. In fact at times the signal is weaker with the anthena. - Using with Huawei wifi router and the signal strength seems sometimes slightly better but other times worse. The cable is only long enough to use in a car/van, way too short to mount on a pole. ## Features - Poynting Omni indoor/outdoor SiSo 3G/4G antenna - Future-proof omni-directional wideband LTE SiSo antenna - Frequency bands: 698-960MHz, 1710-2700MHz, 3400-3800MHz - Backwards compatible with 3G, 2G technologies - 4dBi gain, 2m lead with SMA Plug ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07DVNJ941 | | Antenna | Omni-directional wideband LTE SiSo antenna with 4dBi gain, 2m lead and SMA Plug, compatible with 3G, 2G technologies and operating on frequency bands 698-960MHz, 1710-2700MHz, 3400-3800MHz. It only works with 4G routers that have an external antenna socket. **Q: will this work in a router with a ts9 antenna port?** A: No as it has the wrong connector, adaptors are available as an add-on. **Q: Does it cone with any cable?** A: Yes, it comes with a fixed 2m cable with an SMA Plug connector on the end. **Q: i would like to ask if this antenna would work outdoors with a cell phone signal booster?** A: Well remember that such devices (boosters) are illegal in the UK... well there is an Ofcom standard but I'm not aware of any that conform. Saying that, if you COULD find a legal booster then, yes this antenna would work. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Strange *by B***M on 11 October 2020* I first checked this at the sames level and I achieved about 25% increase in mbps. In fact at times the signal is weaker with the anthena. *by M***D on 21 March 2022* Using with Huawei wifi router and the signal strength seems sometimes slightly better but other times worse. The cable is only long enough to use in a car/van, way too short to mount on a pole. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well and feels well made *by J***K on 15 January 2021* It is hard to really know if they have improved our 4g speed and stability or if the internet provider has improved things at their end. However having played with the position of the antenna and using an app to get the direction of the tower we are now getting a reasonable signal and better stability. We did purchase 2 antenna and currently only using indoors, so we may try outside in the better weather. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/66782896-poynting-omni-indoor-outdoor-siso-3g-4g-antenna](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/66782896-poynting-omni-indoor-outdoor-siso-3g-4g-antenna) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-09*
