It's sort of awkward but fine if it is your own machine. It might be a pain if you have a whole studio of reformers and are running a class. **Q: What are the dimensions? will it work other aeropilates reformers?** A: It will not work with aeropilate reformer. There is a wooden bar underneath, that would go between the rails. I had to return it because I have an aeropilate reformer. Aero Pilates does not have a platform extender.
