Not so with the Octonauts Action Figures! I was amazed by the good size of the toys, especially because they are impossible to swallow, (although you do have to use your judgement with the accessory bits) and also because they are constructed of sturdy materials. I was honestly expecting junky 1 1/2" brittle plastic characters but these are an appropriately nice big size for small hands (2"+) and have a pleasant feel to them. I also purchased several of the Gup vehicles and equally impressed with the design quality and the nice size. I feel I got good value for my money, especially since they are not "cheap" to purchase. All the little accessories are quite good and set the child up with enough to come up with a game to play quite nicely. My little boy has a few Octonauts bits now and this was a good addition to the set.
