For people not sure what this machines does Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation is a non-invasive method of controlling pain by using tiny electrical impulses sent through the skin to nerves to modify pain perception which reduce or eliminate pain sensation for a short period of time. It does not fix the actual physiological problem. This Unit comes with everything you need to get started: a control unit, a battery, 2 lead wires, 8 electrode pads, instruction manual, and a electrode placement guide. Just follow through the instruction manual the unit is not hard to use even if you have never used one before. I used it for a few days with just 10-15 min each session. I noticed a relieve in intensity of pain after the sessions. It usually lasted for a few hours before the pain came back. I assumed by using a longer session the pain relief will last longer. Also during the second session I used lotion on my arm right before I used the TENS unit and forgot to clean skin and the electrodes gel lost adhesiveness. Next day the electrodes still stayed on but not as good as before.
