This bag is strong and lightweight and airlines have some responsibility to care for hand luggage if they insist on putting it in the hold. After all, I can recall not so longer ago that laptop computers had to be put in the hold for security reasons. If, on the other hand, you want it for a substitute suitcase, it's not worth the risk. Why not consider a cargo holdall? **Q: Is the size of this bag 40cm x 20cm x 25cm, the Ryanair requirement?** A: The bag listed here is 55 x 40 x 20cm, not as quoted in the sizes you refer to. The bag listed is suitable as the second bag allowed by Ryanair in the cabin (at least it was when I travelled in March) but for which you have to pay extra (I think it was referred to as 'Prime' but not sure) BUT it is too large for the basic cabin allowance. Hope that helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Reasobale value *by J***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 September 2019* We used this as cabin baggage it worked well but it would have been better if the sides where firmer. It did fit well into t he size guides of the air line provider, not sure how long it will last but for the price if we get a few trips out of it I'll be happy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, light, folds down *by S***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 October 2019* Not used it yet, but seems quite sturdy. Folds down to fit in back pack when not in use. Plastic lining very smelly. Opened it to air it, hopefully this will decrease before use. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good value. *by W*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 August 2018* Delivered on time. Looks the part and is the ideal size for a carry on bag. How robust it is remains to be seen but vg for the price. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/66858496-slimbridgecabin-carry-on-under-the-seat-hand-luggage-travel-bag](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/66858496-slimbridgecabin-carry-on-under-the-seat-hand-luggage-travel-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-19*
