When initially ordering them I was nervous that they would be a half size larger than my normal shoe. This actually was good since I could slip an insole in and have them fit comfortably. They are a thinner leather but that has not impacted their wearability. If anything, it has meant they are lightweight and comfortable as a casual shoe I wear with dresses, slacks or leggings. The sole is well made and durable. I liked this shoe in the original white color so much that I purchased 2 more pair. They are perfect for travel (easy on/easy off) and they don't weigh down my suitcase when I take more than one pair. I have received compliments every time I wear them. I returned one pair for a stitching defect and received a prompt credit on my account. I re-ordered the shoes and the replacement pair was perfect.
