For the 5m x 2m roll we found we needed more than 50 pegs as we wanted to get it lying flat so it can be mowed in due course. Hoping it will protect the grass where we park a car and not be visible as grass grows through. So far looking good! Review: Hard to get flat - When I tried to unroll the mesh I found it very difficult to get flat. I had to weigh it down with bricks and even after stapling there are corners and edges that spring up and create a tripping hazard. I've no idea how the mower will cope in the Spring... hopefully no damage to either the mower or the mesh. [Update - added photo] There is now a deep rut in the lawn and the mesh has split. We intend to scatter grass seed on ours to further knit the mesh into the ground so will find out the hard way !!! But the mesh on Norfolk showground car parking fields is fine and that takes really heavy wear . **Q: can it be used on uneven grass** A: Certainly, mine has been down for a year and the grass has grown up through it no problem we just go over with a Strummer when needed. I would recommend pegging out the ends until its been down a while, hope this helps **Q: We have a 2 ton wrangler with off road tyres. Would the product be ok for this?** A: I doubt it. I put mine down in March 2020 and it was good during dry weather but in the winter, it's sunk below the grass level so becomes muddy when driven on. Would probably work fine in warmer climates but not in Scotland.
