My son is small for his age & measurements suggested buying aged 4 years size. The shirt was snug but wearable. Waistcoat perfect although an adjusting part at back would have finished it off nicely. However trousers were massive and had to be taken up, in and legs streamlined. Also jacket arms far too long and shoulder pads pretty hefty. Once seamstress altered it all was very smart.
