Luckily, I didn't put the accompanying 4gb card in first, or I'd be stuck with that. But I was planing on using my 128gb micro back and forth with other computers; now I'll be unable, because it's stuck in the nifty drive.3/17/15 I contacted Nifty Drive. They advised me to destroy the Nifty Drive to retrieve my sdxc, and they would send me a new drive if I sent them a photo of the destroyed drive. To their credit, they sent a new one promptly. So they get 5 stars for customer service. The 128gb card is very difficult to remove from the new drive; the 4gb card they provided comes out much more easily, though is still somewhat difficult. So this seems to be a function of # of gb.The product description says up to 128gb, and strictly speaking this is true.
