Review: Solid salmon sashimi and reasonable price - I was looking at various sites that sell sashimi-grade quality salmon online, and in terms of quality and cost (including shipping) versus what I got and paid for with these salmon fillets, I believe was very comparable. What sold me on trying this salmon first was the fact that, overall, it appeared to be just a bit more reasonably priced. The fish arrived extremely fast, even faster than the original estimated arrival date, which made me very happy because I’d really been craving sashimi. It was boxed very well with plenty of cold packs, and even though this was a VERY hot day (around 80 degrees, I believe) those packs weren’t even half melted yet. Also the salmon itself was very much still frozen when it arrived. The salmon itself has a lot of marbling. There were no weird smells (first thing I checked). It looks and smells very fresh. When I tried it with some sushi rice, both the taste and texture were quite good. I have no complaints. Overall, I’m very happy I found this as an option to feed my sashimi cravings, and I plan to buy more once I’ve worked my way through the remaining salmon (which probably won’t take too long, if I’m being honest).

I was looking at various sites that sell sashimi-grade quality salmon online, and in terms of quality and cost (including shipping) versus what I got and paid for with these salmon fillets, I believe was very comparable.
