Oh my GOD! There are so many flaws with this design and the layout of colors.CONS:1. No definition along the edge of the design and it is not centered on the canvas. One edge is closer to the top than the other but you can cut it if you want to.If you chose this design because of those whimsical circles like I did, they simply don't show up because the manufacturer chose a very light blue that almost appears white. I replaced them all with the aqua colored drills and actually created my own design. Very frustrating.2. There are many, many shades of blue that seem to look eerily similar and this was not taken into consideration at all. Next to each other they look the same.3. Wrong dimensions. Hard to find a frame! This piece, once cut out is closer to 10" x 10". Disregard the manufacturer's measurements. I mounted my image on a 10x10 canvas from Target with Mod Podge Glossy.4. Drills or resins are not really secure once placed on the surface because glue isn't strong enough. So I glazed the entire piece, once mounted on the canvas with more Mod Podge Glossy. I did not experience bubbles or any issues. Be generous with the glaze especially when mounting it to the canvas or whatever you choose. I was afraid that this would dull the diamond effect so while it was still wet with glaze I dusted very, very super fine transparent or icy tone glitter over the top. You can use chunky if you like. I haven't tried it so I can't comment on it. Much to my surprise, I loved the finished piece WAYYYY better than I thought I would. The glitter settled into the crevices surrounding the drills so beautifully and it gave the piece a TRUE diamond look without being cheesy ( I think, but I love glitter so I'm biased!) You can see the video I posted of the finished painting.PROS:1. really pretty if you're willing to work with it. I suggest creating it the way it was intended and step back to see if you like it the way it is. I personally did not until I changed it.
