They are sturdy with little flex and durable against heavy strumming and down picking. In the past I have used cheaper plectrums which aren't as comfortable don't have enough grip and limit guitar playing. These however are the opposite and create an enjoyable guitar playing experience. I personally would recommend these to anyone starting out on guitar or just haven't used them before.
