Review: Reduced my dog’s red eyes and allergies - Reduced my dog’s red eyes and allergies bery significanly. She loves the food as well. Review: VERY happy with this product, and my dogs are, too! - Both my dogs (a 15lb Yorkie and a 15lb Lhasa-Poo) had no trouble switching over to this food from their previous food (Wellness Core - reduced fat). I gradually added the Blue to the Core over a 1 week period and their digestive systems and appetites were just fine. The protein content of the Blue is a smidge higher than the Core, so that helps with weight management (my Yorkie is big for her breed, but also a little heavier than she should be - vet says she needs to lose a few pounds), and they like the taste! Kibble size is not too big or too tiny, but just right. Their stools were easy to pick up and they seem to be pooping less than with the Core. The food has hardly any odor/smell, and their breath is nice, too. Considering the quality ingredients, quantity of food and price - this is a MUCH better deal for me financially (Core was almost twice as much) without sacrificing quality for my little loved ones. ## Features - 24 lb bag - Made without extra calories, BLUE Wilderness Healthy Weight recipe is formulated to help your dog achieve and maintain an ideal weight. - Made in the USA - Love them like family, feed them like family ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005UV6RJ2 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Allergen Information | Chicken Meat, Soy Free, Wheat Free | | Animal Food Diet Type | Veterinary Diet | | Animal Food Ingredient Claim | No Artificial Flavors | | Animal Food Nutrient Content Claim | High Protein | | Benefits | Supports immune health and aids in weight management | | Brand | Blue Buffalo | | Brand Name | Blue Buffalo | | Breed Recommendation | All Breed Sizes, Medium Breeds | | Container Type | Pouch | | Country Of Origin | USA | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 1,552 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | All | | Flavour | Chicken Healthy Weight Grain Free | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00859610005727 | | Item Form | Dry | | Item Weight | 24.24 Pounds | | Item form | Dry | | Manufacturer | Blue Buffalo Company* | | Manufacturer Part Number | 800346 | | Model Number | 859610005727 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Occasion | Birthday | | Package Size Name | 24 Pound | | Pet Type | Dog | | Recommended Uses For Product | weight management | | Special Features | high protein, high protein dog food, meat rich, weight management dog food | | Special Ingredients | Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, L-Carnitine, Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids, Glucosamine & Chondroitin | | Special ingredients | Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, L-Carnitine, Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids, Glucosamine & Chondroitin Special ingredients Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, L-Carnitine, Omega 3 & 6 Fatty Acids, Glucosamine & Chondroitin See more | | Specific Uses For Product | weight | | Specific uses for product | weight | | Target Species | Dog | | UPC | 859610005727 | | Unit Count | 384.0 gram | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Blue Buffalo - **Flavour:** Chicken Healthy Weight Grain Free - **Item form:** Dry - **Specific uses for product:** weight ## Images ![Wilderness Adult Dog Healthy Weight Chicken Formula - Grain Free 24 lb - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/715fkHize4L.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does BLUE Life Protection Formula contain grains or fillers?** A: Complex carbohydrates are essential to a complete and balanced diet for dogs. We have been giving our dogs Blue Buffalo for a few years now. We changed over from Canidae because it was not available in our area, however, after using Blue for a few months, we noticed a good change in our dog's poo and weight. We always try to get grain free because dogs are not designed to eat the same type of balanced diet as humans. There are many factors to take into consideration when you choose a dog food for your fur child. Yes, they are your family and you should treat them as such. You don't eat out of the bottom of your trash can, so why would you feed your dog food that is the bottom of your trash can? Exactly. So, do your research on your dog breed and dog food. It's said that dogs can not break down and metabolize complex carbohydrates and cereal grains so well. These fibers and grains that are difficult-to-digest will remain undigested in your dog's belly with the body relying mainly on fermentation to break them down. And that don't smell so good. When this has gone on for a long time, it can damage the lining of your dog's digestive system. They may end up with bowel disorders, food allergies and sensitivities, leaky gut and even obesity. 🐶 THINGS TO REMEMBER 🐾Check out the ingredients label on your dog’s food or on the brand’s website. They will have loads of valuable information on the dog food. 🐾Never change dog food cold turkey. You need to slowly introduce the new dog food by mixing it in a little at a time. Rule of thumb is 25%, 50%, 75%, then 100%. Do this over the course of a few weeks so your dog’s digestive system has time to adjust. Also, you will want to keep an eye on your doggies poo to make sure they’re not constipated or suffering from diarrhea. If anything you are not comfortable with or not sure, call your Vet. 🐾Change your dog's flavor every once in a while. Changing foods periodically helps to ensure that no dietary deficiencies or excesses build up over time. I mean you don't eat the same thing every day right? So why should they? We are very happy with Blue Buffalo Grain Free dog food and so are our dogs! 🐾🐾 ## Frequently Bought Together - Blue Buffalo Wilderness Adult Dog Healthy Weight Chicken Formula - Grain Free 24 lb - Benebone Puppy Tiny 2-Pack Indestructible Dental Chew/Wishbone for Aggressive Chewers, Long Lasting Teething Boredom Breaker for Puppies, Real Bacon Flavour, For XS Dogs, Made in the USA - Benebone Indestructible Wishbone Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers, Long Lasting Tough Boredom Breaker for Dogs, Real Bacon Flavour, For Medium Dogs, Made in the USA --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/67065160-wilderness-adult-dog-healthy-weight-chicken-formula-grain-free-24](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/67065160-wilderness-adult-dog-healthy-weight-chicken-formula-grain-free-24) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-29*
