There's a specific loop at the top of the rod above the light that you're meant to hook your ceiling hanger through (don't just loop the cord over your ceiling hook). Being able to choose between globe #, sizes, colors and wired or hardwired is great. They are customizable and easy to install or swap out. The included hooks are very nice - long and sturdy. I trust them with my precious lamps! The cords are nice and long and I love the decorative metal bits that really elevate it from being a boring lamp to a welcoming accent in a room. On one of my orders, I got the wrong globe (1 of the 3) which was immediately corrected, no questions asked (other than to make sure I was getting the right one this time).
