The bolt is 7/16". The hinge has bushings but they are some kind of plastic with a shoulder on them. Looks like brass replacements can be installed easily. I'm using this hinge as a stabilizer on a cargo carrier on the back of my Jeep. I'll be back with an update after this project is done and with some miles on it.
