Ideal Children's 4 Card Games in Tin

Great value and my 4 year old daughter loves the card games. Good selection of games that are easy for younger kids to learn. Tin is roomy and will fit additional games / decks of cards beyond the four included. Cards themselves are "ok" quality. A bit flimsy when shuffling, but passable. Bigger complaint is with the "Crazy 8s" deck where the colors of the cards are somewhat hard to distinguish - it would benefit greatly from some bolder primary colors.At a higher price I'd dock a star for the aforementioned issues, but at this price point the value makes the set a solid 4.

Purchased set of 4 different card game that have been around for many, many years (War, Old Maid, Crazy 8s, and Go fish) for my young granddaughter who feels left out when" older" card game are played that are too complicated for her. Now she feels included with her own card games.

My kids love these card games and there is a bit of nostalgia for me in playing them. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a flaw with Old Maid. Old Maid is the only card in the deck stamped with words, making it easy to identify when playing and therefore useless. Since my family still wanted these cards, we simply used a sharpie marker on every single card making them all the same. It worked for us and took about a minute. Aside from this one flaw, we love this set.

I bought these to have on hand when visiting grandchildren have used up their digital minutes and can't find anything to do. These are all the old favorites that any age-group can play, so we can all join in without much explanation. This isn't the kind of thing that will hold a child's attention for long periods of time, but a great distraction from boredom on car rides, doctor visits, etc. Having a metal container means they can easily tag along when you're out and about.

I bought this for my grandson. It's nice to have all games in a tin that cleans up nicely. However I did have to tell him what some of the things were pictured on the cards, he's just turned 4. I'm sure we will have years of family time playing these. It's wonderful to play the card games of my youth with my grandson. I also use these for my mom who has Alzheimer's. I found the "Go Fish" is the easiest for her without adding any frustration.

A nice set and really like the tin can storage. My only complaint is with the crazy 8 game, as the numbers are within a small circle that contains the color in its background, but it sometimes it is difficult to distinguish the color for child, but especially if someone is color blind.

We bought these to take on vacation with our grandson who just turned 5. He had not previously played card games. He loved them, and we loved introducing him to these games we played as children! Although most of these games can be played with regular playing cards, the large colorful cards are fun and high quality. The tin is a very nice way to keep them all together. We will be enjoying these card games with him, and our other grandchildren, for years to come!

I am a school counselor and I love a small tin can where you have 4 different options to occupy the kiddos. They love every game and I love the low price. Plus the tin stays shut so its easy to keep track of all the cards.
