No detrimental effects. Don't know why it should say otherwise in the instructions. Do what l did, throw the instructions in the bin and carry on ironing. **Q: Could some please tell me the actual size of the area you iron on & then the full length with ironing rest please TIA** A: The ironing board is 124cm in length. The width is 35cm. There is some tapering at on end as is normal in ironing boards. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good ironing board *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 24 August 2025* Its quite solid and haven't ran into any issues with peeling paint or it been unstable. The handles work and there isn't any slip when putting it out for the price it's a good product ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ very stable *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 February 2025* very pleased with this ironing board ,jst the right height , iron is secure in holder nd no wobble nd big enough to iron king size quilts , job done ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adjustable, large surface, sturdy. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 28 February 2020* I did some research as i needed an ironing board that would give an option for me to either sit comfortably or stand with the board quite high, for medical purposes. This is great. I can sit down with it on the sofa and stand with it about sternum high (I'm 5'4") its not too heavy, its very sturdy, doesn't tip or wobble like my last one. It has a large ironing surface which is really good, the clothes stick a little to the surface, (i just rubbed it over with a tumble dryer sheet) seems to work. The delivery was fast, however the packaging was ripped (just plastc film wrapped) the iron holder was scratched and dented. I contacted amazon and they dealt with me quickly and efficiently. Very happy with amazon service and my new ironing board. ## Frequently Bought Together - Vileda Bravo Ironing Board, Blue, Medium, Metal, 120cm x 38cm - Russell Hobbs Steam Iron [3100W, 210 g/min extra steam boost, 70 g/min steam] Power Steam (350ml, ceramic soleplate, self-cleaning & spray water function, anti-limescale, drip stop) 20630 - Vileda 2-in-1 Premium Ironing Board Cover, Color May Vary, Fits boards 110 - 130 x 30 - 45 cm --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/67090430-vileda-bravo-ironing-board-blue-medium-metal-120cm-x-38cm](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/67090430-vileda-bravo-ironing-board-blue-medium-metal-120cm-x-38cm) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
