Foundations of Metropolis is a strategic board game for 2-4 players where you compete to build the most prestigious cityscape using polyomino pieces. With easy visuals and gameplay inspired by Foundations of Rome, it offers a fresh urban planning challenge that’s affordable, family-friendly, and perfect for developing strategic thinking and resource management skills.

## Description

In Foundations of Metropolis, players will compete over three rounds to be the greatest architects in the city by purchasing deeds to empty lots and constructing new buildings on them. More complex buildings require more lots, but will bring you even greater prestige. The player with the most prestige will be appointed Grand Architect! Gameplay is the same in this standalone game as in Foundations of Rome, but with polyomino pieces and a brand new theme.

It has double layered boards which are high quality and the storage makes it so easy to put away. I don't have kiddos of my own yet but I'd say this is probably great for 8+ age range. The game was easy to teach to our friend and easy to learn i highly recommend.

This game is a simpler version of foundations of Rome and you definitely get your money worth. It has double layered boards which are high quality and the storage makes it so easy to put away.
