So when I recently installed surround speakers I decided to get the plugs so that all of my inputs were removable The sound is neither better nor worse (I suppose that’s the idea) and whilst it took me a while to install them, that’s because I had to chop off the twisted ends from the binding posts and bare new clean wire. The grip on the wire is great, and the strain reliever is an added bonus. If I had to pick faults: There is a gap around the edge of the plus where the cable exits, it doesn’t look particularly professional. I suppose one could stick a screwdriver or similar up the end and possibly damage the connection - not sure how that would happen though!
