The charge indicator lights are nice, there are 4 small LED segments to show how much charge you have and then one slightly bigger and brighter LED next to those that I believe is indicating when the power bank is charging the phone. Push the button at any time when it is off the phone to check the power level (if it is attached to the phone it will turn on and start charging) or when you slap this on the iPhone or the Pixel, it will automatically power on and start charging the phone. If you then hold the side button for about 2 seconds it will power off the battery and cease to charge the phone which I appreciate so if I just want to keep the battery pack on the phone, but don't need to charge it until later in the day it can just hang out back there until I need it. On my iPhone it acts as a kickstand too which is not something I expected but it is kinda handy, on the smaller Pixel 10a this does not work, as they just tip over on their back.
