I had tuned the rotor/disc to be quite true but the rear caliper did not sit on the post mounts perpendicular to the brake disc/rotor plane very well. I considered taking some concave and convex washers from V-brake pads and if necessary purchasing longer bolts to pass through the additional washers since these washers allow adjusting/ fine tuning the orientation of the stock caliper but….. I decided I wanted to try this dual piston caliper so …… I only purchased the Front-180/Rear-160 caliper for my 160 mm rear rotor and did not purchase the Front-160/Rear-140 caliper.As stated in the product description this is a dual piston rear caliper. Unfortunately there is no manual/ Allen key/hex wrench pad depth adjustment feature on the outside of this caliper for either the inside or the outside pad. Despite this I was able to orient the caliper such that there was no brake pad to disc rub (probably because of the convex underside of the bolt head and its mating concave washer and the additional convex and concave washers for each bolt). I have a metal disc brake spacer for setting up bicycle disc brakes but I was only able to insert it about half way across the pads which was enough. The setup took a bit of time and fiddling but eventually improved the previously unsatisfactory brake lever travel to a level that was quite satisfactory and slightly better than the adjustment I had managed for the stock front caliper (which has concave and convex washers) and brake lever which I was already pleased with.I don’t really notice any improvement in the braking performance of this new caliper over the stock brake caliper that I removed from the G.1 gravel bike but I have only owned it for a few days and so far I have only ridden it on pavement and only 2 rides on the old caliper for about 35 miles total. I have one 14 mile ride on this new caliper and did not experience anything negative with the braking performance of this new caliper.In the end I would guess that I would have been just as well off to have used the concave and convex washers from a couple of V-brake pads and kept the stock single piston caliper. The space between the pads seems to be about the same between the single piston caliper and the dual piston caliper.Today is February 16, 2025 and many of the roads where I live have been flooded and closed and then snow covered. Once the weather improves I will get in some more miles and if I experience any problems with this new caliper I will update this review to reflect my experiences. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great upgrade *by on Reviewed in the United States January 2, 2025* Better than stock calipers.
