Before being playable by a beginner the action must be lowered at the bridge *and* the nut - out of the box the action is just too high. Easy to fix though, even I could do it. Once set up it's very enjoyable with a pleasing tone - perfect for young players. I bought the mint green and the colour is as advertised. Came on time with a bag that fits it just right.The ukulele doesn't come tuned, but it's easy to tune yourself. Just download a ukulele tuner on your phone or buy a real tuner and you should be good to go.Initial tuning might be a bit intimidating for those who've never tuned a guitar or uke before like me. But the strings held and didn't snap.The uke easily goes out of tune the first couple of days, but will improve as you keep using it for a few days.
