It will write to them but fails verification. A reload of the written data shows errors. It will work great with SSTDf256 EEPROMS which are electrically written. Software is in mostly Italian. Overall if this works for you then great Review: Fit a ZIF socket. Otherwise, excellent. Drivers and SW comes on disk. - If you're only doing to occasional chip, it's fine as is, just be careful to straighten all the pins before you start. I fitted a ZIF socket to reduce the chances of bending pins and speed up insertion. It now works a treat, though the ZIF's pins only reach 3/4 of the way through the plated through holes because of a couple of smt components underneath it. Plenty flux on both sides and plenty heat! Also an electric solder sucker makes it easy to get the DIP socket out without damage.
