What Experience do you have with using in an Instapot?** A: I use mine in my Instant Pot pressure cooker, almost daily, and I wash it in my dishwasher. I have had no problems whatsoever. **Q: Is this stainless steel?** A: No, this is not full stainless steel. The screw threads in the center that connect to the handle is not stainless steel. Mine has corroded on my and sent our dinner crashing to the floor, disconnecting from the handle, and sending food flying all over. Luckily it didn't fall on my kids/myself causing any burns... **Q: How big is this actually? Product info says 7 x 5 x 6.2" whereas manufacturer says 8"?** A: Hi! Well, it really depends on what you want to put this in when you are cooking/steaming food. The smallest you can make it is 6 inches open and the largest wide open (looks like the photo) is 10 1/2 inches wide from one side to the other. It can fit in a 6 quart Instant Pot wonderfully! I use it in that all the time. I put the meat in the bottom of the Instant Pot and then put this steamer in and them put frozen veggies in that. And then set the time to 20 minutes, high pressure and boom...you have dinner! It also fits into pots on the stove and is a great steamer...it has little legs you can fold out on the bottom if you want to have it up off the bottom of the pan. This steamer just seems to "fit" whatever pan you need it to fit in. I recommend it. Best wishes. **Q: How long are the feet, because in the picture it shows long and in another it shows short?** A: The feet are 1 7/8 inches from the base. When the feet are closed down they are 1/2 inch from the base keeping the base out of the water. The handle that screws in or out of the top also has a spring on it so that it will close down when a lid is put on the pot. I hope this helps.
