Why did one come with 4 and the other come with only 2?** A: Good question. Should be a set of 4 in each set. **Q: But will they come off? The bumpers themselves are of good quality, but the adhesive can't keep its hold. I'm thinking of trying a strong glue. **Q: Why is this needed besides the level issue? Will the bidet be damaged because of the unbalanced weight without this?** A: The Bidet attachment raises the seat a bit towards the rear. I believe it will create an imbalance that will potentially damage the bidet, the seat or both. I think it is worth it, however you will need to invest in a little extra strength adhesive and put special care into applying them. The bidet itself is a great accessory and it works really well. I've purchased these bumper kits from various manufacturers....none of them work without the extra adhesive.
