A: I would think it  should , however,  you would  to accept a protrusion of 1/8"  on one side or 1/16"  on both sides.

**Q: Will this fit 1 3/4 thick door?**
A: No, it only fits a 1 3/8 thick door.

**Q: Will it fit a 1 6/8 thick door?**
A: Hi There, thanks for reaching out regarding this product! This model is made for 1 ⅜ inch thick hollow core door.

**Q: Will it work for a 1 1/2 inch door?**
