I purchased the 8 inch it allows you to do a little bit more, for not a lot extra money. Surprised how good it is. You will need to purchase bar and chain oil 1Lt approx £8.50. The gloves are not fit for purpose i would recommend that you get a good pair. I almost had an accident when pruning a small branch the saw bucked up and caught my leather gloves which saved me, tomorrow i by proper gloves. Because the saw is so light you use one hand to hold it and sometimes the other hand to hold the branch. Some youtube videos show a handle that screws into the side, to give stability and keep both hands behind the cutting blade, this device does not come with one. Not sure how good the eye protection is, so i would recommend getting a good pair. Have used the saw for two days now and have run out of things to cut.
