It's has a light gel-like consistency that absorbs instantly and leaves a hydrated appearance with no white cast at all. This doesn't make me feel or look oily and doesn't break me out as a lot of skincare does. Sits wonderfully underneath makeup and I have never burned while wearing it. It has a pleasant fresh citrus scent that is not overpowering and doesn't linger at all. I have been through many bottles over the last 3 years now and would highly recommend.
