These are pretty much the same size and shape as the patches provided with the D7. They are clear plastic and fit around the sensor well. The tape is like a sturdy clear tape and did not stay completely stuck to my skin. There entire backside was loose after a day and a half. They are waterproof, which was good. Hope this helps. **Q: Are you supposed to use the aftermarket overlay alone, or both?** A: I just use the aftermarket overlay. I fell that it sticks better that the overlay that comes with the G7 sensor. **Q: Does the no hole version cover the entire sensor or just go around the sensor?** A: The patch is much the same as the Dexcom patch only they are easier to apply. There is a hole in the patch like like the Dexcom patch. After using these patches for the last few months, I would no longer say they adhere better than the Dexcom patch ( think I have had to replace the patch on every sensor), but they are easier to apply. **Q: Does this product have a hole where the transmitter fits or does it lay overtop?
