I am inflating road bike tires with presta valves to 100 psi. The head works fine with the presta, I haven't tried the schrader, but I imagine it works well also. For lower pressure tires or balls etc... I think this pump would be ok. It comes with a nice nylon bag with Velcro straps for portability. For the price I can't really complain other than it takes a lot of pumps to inflate from such a small device. If you purchase this please note that there is a metal "step" which holds the pump in place while in storage. While in use place the "step" flat on he ground and step on it and use your other foot to pump (directly down) with no movement.
