Review: Kitchen essential gloves - Great glove that works and looks good. They will get grungy over time if you’re not careful, but that’s the only reason I replace the pair. Usually have one grungy pair for sloppy jobs, and one clean pair for show and daily normal use.
Review: The best kitchen gloves - The ove glove is the only oven glove I use while cooking. I have used many times and they still work just as well as when I bought them. They are a decent size and the material stretches so they can fit pretty much anybody. They are made from a thick, strong material so you can feel how great the quality is and know that you can touch the hot pans and not get burned. You can cook, grill, and bake pretty much anything with these gloves because the fingers are separated unlike in regular oven mits and there is little grips on them so it is easier to grab and use your hands and fingers to cook. I have washed and dried them a couple of times and they are still strong and i don't feel the heat while using them. After using these I will never use anything else, these are my go to kitchen glove.

**Q: Are these gloves the real Ove Gloves or fakes? Reviews are confusing!**
A: I received fakes from Amazon.  I have the real Ove gloves and noticed the poor quality immediately.  I had no idea people were selling fakes, especially Amazon, but the quality was so different I did a search and sure enough, they were fakes. I contacted Joseph Enterprises and confirmed. Mine were white at the bottom, but no tag or hook inside which was one of the signs for those of you who don't know how to tell. The real ones are amazing. I just received the real ones from Joseph Enterprises who are trying to work with Amazon to stop selling the fakes. If you are getting burns when using your Ove gloves, you most likely have fake gloves. Return them to Amazon if you don't have a tag and hook and tell them why you want your money back.  Also verify that the UPC number on the box begins with 021363 which is assigned to Joseph Enterprises.  I'll upload a picture of the real gloves I received in the ratings. The real gloves are a 5 out of 5 stars!

**Q: My hands are pretty small, are they so big that they slide off of smaller hands ?**
A: I ordered 6 SETS of 2 gloves and they simply tape two boxes of 1 glove, together.  They do NOT come 2-in-a-box. When ordering from sellers that offer 2 gloves for under $22, you are opening yourself up to getting the gloves that I believe are fakes.  I've ordered many SINGLE gloves from Amazon in the past, and all have been fine.  However, the 2 orders I completed, using sellers that were not Amazon, but used Amazon to fulfill the orders, and buying TWO gloves for under $22, have been what I feel are fakes.  The real OVE Gloves have a tag, with all manufacturing information/regulations, sewn in to the glove opening.  The tag, and the box they come in, state that they are made in S. Korea.  The gloves I believe are knock-offs, have NO tag anywhere inside the gloves.  The boxes they come in do state that they are made in S. Korea, but there is NO tag on the gloves themselves.The real Ove Gloves are much thicker, a brighter white, the print on the gloves is more crisp/clear, and they fit larger hands easily.  I can barely fit my fingers into the gloves I believe are fake.  The real gloves are very roomy and even my 6'4" neighbor gets his hand into them with plenty of room.Perhaps the easiest way to see a real vs. possible knock off glove is by looking at the opening where you slide your hand inside.  The real gloves have a white border material.  The other gloves have a black material border.And... all my SINGLE glove orders have been the real Ove Glove.  Every PAIR of gloves order has been the ones I believe are fakes.Unfortunately, there is no way to see if you will get the Ove Glove or the possible knock offs as you order.  I am sending back 6 orders of gloves that are sold as a set of 2.  So far, both orders I received of the possibly fake/lesser quality gloves, were orders sold as a set of 2.  ALL orders I've completed at Amazon, where I bought multiple gloves, but sold as ONE glove each, have been the real Ove Gloves.  I hope this helps!  I've tried to list facts and keep opinion out of this (other than to state "Possibly Fake/Knockoffs").  I cannot say, for certain, that the gloves I believe are fake, actually are.  But, I have many Ove Gloves that I've purchased over the years, and the quality of the ones I call "real" is way above and beyond that of the ones I call "fake".In addition, I find it hard to believe, with country/state regulations these days, that a glove used to protect people from harm/burning themselves, is allowed to be sold with NO TAG inside it to explain cautions and meet legal standards for local and country wide regulations.  I'm not an attorney, but as a consumer, I cannot believe a REAL danger to other consumers, would not be covered in a legitimate product sold in the USA.

A: You can check Amazon for what they have now. I ordered these and then returned them. I opted for the ones they sell that do not have the grips on . I think they were $9.99.  Nobody sells the old ones that I had years ago it seems. I looked everywhere.

**Q: Can you wash the Ove Glove? Can you put in the dryer?**
A: do wash the glove in cold water and mild detergent. I do not dry it in the dryer. I was told it is better to let it air dry. It is made of the same protective fabric that is used to protect firemen. A fireman's wife said I should allow it to air dry. I go by her advise. I had my first glove for 9 years and washed it several times and air dried it. After 9 years usage it was getting to be less resistant to heat. I purchased a new one. I wont be without my ove-glove!

The ove glove is the only oven glove I use while cooking. I have used many times and they still work just as well as when I bought them. This is the pack of one glove but they are also sold in a pack of two. I already had one I've used for several years so I bought this single glove to go with it for the times I need to use both hands. (An Ove Glove is the same on both sides so it will fit either hand.) They are roomy but still work fine with my small hands. They work like a good potholder but with a better grip, and protect the back of your hand and wrist. Like a regular potholder, the heat will begin to come through after a minute or two but they work well for kitchen, BBQ, etc. uses. They are also easy to use with a regular potholder if you need to hold something hot for a longer time; much easier than trying to hold two regular potholders together. The new glove I received (sold by Joseph Enterprises and shipped from Amazon) seems identical to my old Ove Glove, except the outer material seems a little looser knit, but that may be because my old one has been washed a few times. Unlike what some buyers experienced, my new one has the same tag and hanging loop just inside the wrist, and the packaging looks legit. Joseph Enterprises is the original manufacturer of the Ove Glove so they are a legit seller. Ove Gloves can be machine washed and air dried; don't use bleach or fabric softener. The package doesn't state this but there was a small paper insert with washing directions. They get excellent ratings on Consumer Reports and are a useful kitchen item. I've also ordered the pack of two to give for a gift.
