One has no interest in escaping and sits in the sling comfortably. and I can have my hands free. However, my other dog will try to jump out so I need TWO hands holding the bag all the time.Yes. There is a security clip. It doesn't prevent the dog from jumping out though. It will jump out and hang from the clip. It's certainly a lovely 'sling' but I can't call it a bag because it doesn't close. I like the fact that the material is strong and firm, it's not elastic like most of other slings are. It's very premium built I should say. The shoulder strap is extending a lot and the front pocket is spacious. I was surprised to see that a water bowl was included with the sling. Well done!
