Review: Great leather case by HiBy for the R4 DAP - I first bought an MITER case for the HiBy R4 on desertcart. This is a great case—very stylish and high quality. I then decided to get this official HiBy leather case for the R4. This leather case exceptionally protects the R4 from casual bumps and soft falls. Unlike the MITER Case, it covers the side volume and control buttons, but you can feel their location by touch. You can access the IEM jacks and the USB connector on the bottom. This case also covers the SD Card slot on the R4. That means that you have to remove the case to change SD cards. I love how this slimmer case feels on my hands on my hands. It is closer to size and doesn’t add much bulk to the player. This case, like the MITTER one, doesn’t cover the top of the player. However, like in the MITER Case, the HiBy strap can help protect the player. One big difference is that the HiBY Case will better protect the bottom corners than the MITER Case, as it completely covers these edges. On the negative side, this case doesn’t cover the thick back side on top of the player by design. However, considering this makes this case slimmer, I guess it is a compromise in the design. The other con is more of a nitpick. Unlike the MITER Case, this one comes in only one color, which HiBy calls “Off-White.” It’s kind of like a beige color. I wish they had used a few other colors, like black or red. Still, I guess it looks incredible as it is. HiBy did a great job designing this case for their R4 DAP. It's an affordable option instead of the MITER case, but it doesn't feel cheap. I do hope that HiBy will offer these in other colors. Black, red, or blue would be awesome. As it is, this is an excellent cover for the R4!

Case fits the unit very well and is far better than the tacky, clear plastic case that came in the original box. I wish they offered black or brown options along with this light colour.

I first bought an MITER case for the HiBy R4 on Amazon. This is a great case—very stylish and high quality. I then decided to get this official HiBy leather case for the R4. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice feeling and looking case, but put in a cover flap to protect the screen.

Fits well and looks great on my Hiby R4 so I'll give it stars for that. I'm taking off one star for the following.. I do wish the folding flap did something, though. It seems like it should hold it up vertically, but it's too flimsy and has no way to lock itself. I would also have liked a flap to cover the front screen instead of a useless flap.
