These are designed for all weather conditions, including extreme rain, snow, wind, heat, and cold. This is one of the best tents under $600. The matching basecamp tents, also, are available for 4 or 6 adults. This 1236 has sets of double doors, 14 - 7 inch. Review: Very very nice tent that I totally forgot to take pictures of ( I always take pictures...) but it looks exactly as shown and has a simple setup that took me (one person) about 12 minutes to set up alone and yes I have set up at least 35 different tents in my years with a total of around 150 times of experience but I figure anyone could do this with two people in about the same time if it's your first time. The hose was ran on it and it just ran off the fly as if it was a freshly polished car on a hill, it then stayed out all night for our sprinkler system and didn't flinch. The poles seem a little small in diameter but with the tarp holding snug it may be perfect. I believe this is the best tent you can buy for the price and isn't full of screen to save money while claiming ventilation. I have those also for warmer temps also but this one can stay "tight". I will be looking at more gear and this brand and this company will be on my list of places to check. Hint: the small pole for the inside fits between two tie downs in the grommets holes across the front of the large vestibule . I am thinking of setting it up again to take pictures and maybe a video and if I do I will post. We had some rain and wind with moderate temperatures. We don’t use a heater in the tent and it was very comfortable even with a couple of nights of below freezing temperatures. We use military surplus ecws sleeping bags and insulated pads. The tent is very easy to set up and very sturdy. I use better stakes than the ones it comes with. The floor is pretty lightweight but we were able to prepare a good clean spot for setup and didn’t experience any punctures or tears. The vestibule was great for keeping our boots in the dry. The size and weight of this tent is excellent and the three of us had plenty of room for our sleeping gear and our packs. We didn’t have much condensation on the ceiling with the vents open.
